The Sun must have been on holiday for the month of September. I checked Active Region Explorer and it is showing Group 971 near the equator and west of the meridian. Looking at the SOHO image I can hardly see the pixel that is dark where it is. Could this be an indication that we are on the way out if the sunspot minimum?

This is my personal observing log. In it I log my more notable observing experiences, or at least the experiences about which I made notes.
