Observing Location Q44 bus along the Cross Bronx Expressway service road between Hugh J. Grant Circle and Castle Hill Ave, Bronx, NY
As an experiment I tried observing from a bus as it bobbed and weaved down the road trying to miss the patches of pavement between the pot holes. With image stabilization on I was able to tell that there was a big spot on the western limb. When the bus stopped I could see that it was a group of spots. It is a good thing I made the attempt because I didn't get any observing in from the museum today.

When we got to the toll plaza for the Whitestone Bridge I could see fog east of the bridge almost up to the roadway. When we started up onto the bridge I could see the fog in the bays between the Whitestone and Throgs Neck bridges and blowing onshore in Edgewater Park and over in Queens, but there did not appear to be any fog on the western side of the Whitestone Bridge.

I was looking through a dirty bus window so the view wasn’t great but I saw three spots.
