It was totally overcast when I went to bed last night and the weather forecast was for thunderstorms after midnight and extending into the morning so I didn't set an alarm. But at moonrise an alarm went off on my PDA and woke me up. I looked out the window and it looked like there was fog around the street lights so I went back to sleep -- I couldn't have made it down to CSP before sunrise anyway. Peter emailed that he had done the same thing.
The weather for tomorrow night's sunset is for at least 50% cloud cover and thunderstorms so it looks like the first crescent will be a wash too.
Sunday is the first Manhattan Henge for this year and right now it looks like that will be a doable event. And the weather is looking good for the Memmorial Day holiday too.
