Atmospheric Conditions	Heavy overcast. Clouds moving from the SW. As mild as yesterday but it felt a good bit cooler. There was a brisk moist wind out of the SW. Transparency Poor Seeing Excellent

Comments	It was difficult to observe the sunspots as the eye was distracted by the constant motion of the clouds over them. It took me nearly five minutes just to figure out where the sun was. While observing a seagull flew between me and the sun and, bending his wings back, hung there for a second on the wind in silhouette - very nice. 848 Southern hemisphere on the meridian. This group has become very complex since yesterday. The overall size of the spot might have increased a little but being unable to measure it it is hard to tell for sure. The p-spot looks smaller relative to the f-spot. There are many small spots between these two spots. I counted seven spots for sure and I think I saw ten, but the clouds moving over them are very distracting and draw the concentration away from the spots which fuse and separate under the clouds.   Groups Spots R North 0 0 0 South 1 7 17 Total 1 7 17 Groups * 10 + Spots = Relative Sunspot Number
