The forecast had said that humidity would by climbing steadily and I expected transparency to take a hit because of it, but it didn’t. This is one of those nights when I should have gone to TotL but didn’t. If I had gone, though, I would have missed the Moon.

The Moon is making a nice near-right triangle with Jupiter and Antares tonight. I can see most of Scorpius, but what I am after is (4) Vesta, which makes a kind-of dented rectangle with the other three objects.

| Comments | Not Seen I was not having very good luck star hopping tonight. I had Planetarium inverted so I could crank the scope right where it showed but invariably got up and down reversed. |
