I may have posted these links, or at least some of them before, but I just ran across a banner on the NYPL web site advertising a collection of digital scientific imagery that contains a couple of items of interest to astronomers:

• 
  NYPL Digital Gallery graphicAtlas celeste de Flamsteed, publie en 1776 / par J. Fortin. 3. ed., revue, corrigee et augmentee par MM. Delalande et Mechain.(1795)

  The entire atlas is here, at least the graphic portion of it, in 31 full size images (~5x9" double truck plates).

  NYPL Digital Gallery graphicJoannis Elerti Bode Uranographia, sive astrorum descriptio viginti tabulis aeneis incisa ex recentissimis et absolutissimis astronomorum observationibus ... (1801)

  The graphics from this atlas are reduced from 66x100 cm (~26x38") down to 8x6" images. There are 21 images in all.

  NYPL Digital Gallery graphicProdromus dissertationum cosmographicarum continens mysterium cosmographicum, de admirabili proportione orbium coelestium, de que causis coelorum numeri, magnitudinis, motuumâque periodicorum genuinis.... (1596)

  Five of Kepler's diagrams explaining his system for the organization of the solar system. The six images are about 1/3 original size at ~3x4".

  NYPL Digital Gallery graphicThe Trouvelot astronomical drawings: Atlas. (1881-1882)

  Fifteen color images of Trouvelot's celestial diagrams. Some of these diagrams were on display a year ago at SIBL.

A search of the library's already scanned digital collection turned up over 100 items but it is hard to tell looking at the index thumbnails how many of them are related to astronomy.
