It is another warmer than usual day. It would be nice to think that the above saying is true and that we will be in a warming trend the rest of the winter (but what would that portend for the coming summer). But they are predicting "much colder" air for the next few days with the coldest temperatures so far this winter in the offing. There is rain in the near-term and possible solid precipitation as well.
