Flowers in bloom late in autumn indicate a bad winter

The sun enters Ophiuchus tonight at 2123 EST. Astrologically it is already in Sagittarius. It will spend nearly three times longer, 18d7h31m, in Oph - which is not even part of the zodiac - than it did in Sco, 6d10h39m.


The weather is not looking good right now for the Pleiades occultation on Sunday. After possible record setting high temperatures on Thursday NOAA Weather Radio is currently calling for a cold front and storm to come through Friday with thunderstorms and very strong winds Friday and Saturday. It is supposed to be mostly sunny Sunday and mostly cloudy Sunday night with possible rain or snow.
