At 1930 EST it was beautifully clear out, much better than CSC predicted. I was seeing stars everywhere. By 2030 EST the only thing I could see was Mars. I was thinking about maybe doing some observing locally from one of the ovals since the transit strike is in effect and I couldn't get to TotL if I were so inclined. But with the sky looking like it does right now it looks like another night of making occultation maps. There are at least 13 new ones to be made tonight and my internet connection is very slow so it will take a while.
