| Atmospheric Conditions | HHH. The haze was lit up around the sun and patches of thin cloud occasionally passed in front of it. There was some air movement but not enough to make it feel comfortable out.

| Comments | When I first observed the sun I only say 775 and 776. It wasn't until a cloud passed over the sun and blocked some of its light that I saw 779. This is a case of less being more and I think I should put the aperture occulting disk in my filter cell and see if I can see more detail with less light.

| Time | 14Jun05; 1620 EDT |
| Comments | Not Seen The Lacrosse 2 satellite was due to cross the disk of the sun at 1618 EDT. I was all set up and watched for several minutes on either side of that time but did not see any signs of the satellite. The transit duration was only 0.31 seconds. |
