|---|---|
| Constellation | |
| Category | Satellite |
| Time | 4Deco4; 0908 EST |
| Comments | The flare was predicted to be at magnitude -7.4. I thought it would be an easy one since I could see the section of sky where it was to be from my bed. After a late night of observing I was not looking forward to getting dressed and going out on a cold morning. I sat at the window looking through the bug screen, through the double glazed window, through a tree in the courtyard outside, and past the connected apartment building at the chunk of sky where the flare should light up. But nothing happened. I probably should have dragged my sorry bones out of bed and gone to one of the ovals for a more unobstructed view of the sky. |
