30 December 2004
| Observing Location | Parkchester South Condominium Oval, The Bronx, NY |
|---|---|
| Observational Period | 1930-1945 EST |
| Atmospheric Conditions | It was supposed to get cloudy tonight and maybe even rain but when I went out to dinner I could see stars so I went by the oval to see how many stars could be seen and if a trip to down Central Park might be warranted. While at dinner I decided that I should walk up to Metropolitan Oval and assess the impact of the area lighting there on seeing. I should have thought of that earlier and done it before dinner. By the time I got out of dinner the sky was gone and I couldn't even see Saturn. |
