| Comments | I just discovered that the long steady wailing tones are airplanes or other interference. That makes sense since some of the ones I have been hearing tonight have lasted a very long time. I am going to continue to count them as meteors to maintain some consistency within my observations even though it is pushing the ZHR higher than it should be. And since it is getting close to midnight in NM now there will probably be fewer and fewer planes to hear.
