| Atmospheric Conditions | This was supposed to be another good night that went south fast. By 2200 the air was very moist and dew was forming on the body of my binoculars. There was a Mackerel Sky cloud that passed over from the north then a deck of similar cloud moved in from the NNW. We packed it in around 2300. |

| Comments | Ben and I looked through my binoculars tonight at what Peter and I were calling M103 last night. I think Peter and I were not understanding what we were describing to each other. Talking through the hop with Ben and comparing the spatial relationships with Planetarium in my Palm it is apparent that what I was thinking was M103 was actually the guide stars above NGC663: 44 Cas, Yale 481 and Yale 488. M103 is actually between these stars and δ Cas (#4 Cas) and is too small to be seen with my binoculars. |

| Comments | I tried again tonight to hop to the Cascade from Cas but wasn't able to do it. I found it easily going off of Mirfac. |
