31 August 2004
| Observing Location | The Oval, Metropolitan and Unionport Avenues, The Bronx, NY The Oval has reasonable views in all directions considering that it is in the middle of a high rise housing development. But in addition to the normal street lights there are large flood lights around the oval that illuminate it after dark. No matter what direction you are looking in you are looking into one of the lights. |

| Atmospheric Conditions | There was some haze and broken cloud cover. After dark stars were visible. |

| Comments | I missed this one. It was supposed to be a daylight visible pass at magnitude -8.4 that I found listed on Heavens Above over the weekend. But now I can't find it there or on CalSky so I guess it was an erroneous posting. In any case there was nothing to be seen where it was supposed to have been. |

| Comments | In a dark sky with stars visible in the neighborhood 35 was easy to see. I picked it up tracking across the sky and it brightened quickly and faded equally as fast. I was only able to observe it transit about 10 degrees across the sky. |
