CommentsWe were supposed to have had an AAA public solar observing session today at Carl Schurz park but it was too overcast for it. While waiting for the subway to go to the Observers Group Meeting I took the opportunity to observe the sun. It was barely visible through the clouds with my welders glass. The one sunspot that was near the western limb was not visible to me.
