| Observing Location | Clay Courts, Riverside Park, New York, NY The courts are at roughly 96 St but it is very hard to get to on foot. There is public parking in a small lot. The Parks Department covers the adjacent street lamps with black plastic bags so it is darker than either Carl Shurz Park ot Turtle pond. The view id good out to the west, north and south, but is obstructed down to about 45 degrees to the east. |

| Atmospheric Conditions | The weather had been lousy all day but the AAA web site advised that the event was still going to be held so I headed down there. It was hazy early on but there were reasonable views of Venus setting to the west. Eventually it disappeared into the clouds but Jupiter became visible high up. That too became mostly obscured and the event broke up at around 22:00 EDT. |

| Comments | While observing Jupiter I found that Jup did not seem to agree with what I was observing in regard to the location of the moons. Planetarium and J-Moons! were both in agreement with what I was observing. |
