I tried to observe this satellite with hand held binoculars from the front steps of my apartment building.

CommentsUS Spy Satellite pass in front of sun at 0945. I didn't see anything. The satellite was supposed to have been 5.0" in diameter but was only due to be in front of the sun for 0.83 of a second.
